Long Distance Relationships Can Work If You Do Some Planning Ahead

Have you recently met someone online but they live on the other
side of the country. My girlfriend Linda met this nice guy named Rob
but her problem was she was in New York City and he was in Montreal
Canada. After talking for a long time on the phone and exchanging
pictures and stuff they decided to meet.
Their problem wasn't meeting for the first time it was what followed.
Expensive airfare, They hit it off right away and now they fly back
and forth to see each other. You would never think about how expensive
it is to travel back and forth. What their problem was that they would
wait until the last minute to arrange airfare. They of course paid out
the nose for no reason they could of very easily bought discount
airfare had they planned a little bit better.
After she told me her story I was laughing like crazy at her. The poor
thing had no idea why I was laughing. She didn't know that two years
earlier I went through the same thing. Josh was an actor and lived in
Los Angeles while I was living in New York. We both had busy schedules
but we made it a point to make some "together time".
We took turns flying back and forth across the country but we always
booked our trips 30 days in advance. He said that he had a roommate that was
sloppy and worked long hours and only slept there so every time I flew
out there he also booked a hotel room. Well it turned out his roommate
was his fiancé. I guess thinking back now he was a good actor, too
good but that's past and I am over it. The one thing that did come out
of it that I am happy about is he gave me a great site for airfare and
hotel rooms so I guess he was good for something.
Anyway back to Linda's story, she always asking me if I was ever happy
in my long distance relationship and although sometimes I am bitter I
believe in letting the past go. Plus now I save money on airfare
when I go on vacation because I found a great site and book all my trips 30 days in advance.
