Online Dating Site - What Happened To Me When Choosing Romance

Ok so you are tired of sitting home on a Saturday night but don't
know how to use an online dating site. Let me help you as I was in the
same boat once myself.
I was sitting home alone one Saturday night when I decided to try a
dating site. I had no idea what site was good or what site was lousy
and to tell you the truth I was scared to ask any friends if they ever
used a dating site online.
I went to the yahoo search engine and typed in "lonely on Saturday
night" Why I chose that I still have no idea to this day. Well that
seemed to be a good one as it turned up quite a few results where I
could find a date. Most of the sites did not look very well though.
After surfing for a bit I came to EHarmony.com. They seemed like a
well put together site and then I remembered hearing the name from a
coworker that used it once when we were having a cigarette break.
I spent the next 15 minutes or so just clicking around on the site but
I guess I was scared to get started. I took a deep breath and started
to enter my information. At first I was scared to enter my information
but then it occurred to me that the only way I could get a date was to
try it so I did.
There was 117 results from my state that came to me from guys that
were looking for a date also. After limiting it down to 10 that where
from my area I chose to contact 5 of them.
The first guy Bruce seemed nice through his emails but when I seen his
picture it was a no go for me as I am a sister and I didn't want to
date a guy that was Korean. Sorry guys but that's just me.
The next two guys were ok but their emails really didn't do much for
me. Then what happened was really strange, well for me anyway. I was
contacted by a guy (James) that saw my profile and sent me an email. At first I was weary but he included his phone number and sounded
sincere so I called him. It took guts I know but I did it.
He was as surprised when I told him on the phone who I was as he said
he went to school with a cousin of mine. He said he couldn't believe
his eyes that a picture of Brooke Valentine was on a dating site. He
said he thought I was pretty when I met my cousin one day after school
but he was too shy to ask me out.
Well it seemed like a small
world all of a sudden we agreed to go out and he picked me up and he
had flowers for me and he looked cute. I was happy and we had so much
in common. I haven't had a Saturday night alone since.
