Personal Ad Picture Tips That Can Help You Get A Response
by Jenny Peters
It cracks me up when I browse thru personal ads and see all the
things that people do that they think is a good idea. Come on did you
really put down that you like long walks on the beach? Now ask
yourself when was the last time you actually took a long walk on the
beach. Exactly what I thought, it is something that you see in the
movies. In reality no one really takes long walks on the beach. If all
the people that placed this in their ads actually did it there would
be no room to walk on the beach. It would be too crowded.
Another one is "I like to watch the sunset" Hello who doesn't like
that! It is the same old story of people that don't know how to write
a personal ad in the first place. If you ever want to laugh go to the
Village Voice and read the personal ads they just crack me up as this
stuff seems to run rampant over there. I just love it, it really makes
my day.
Ok enough about funny personal ads lets get started on what you can do
to improve your responses. You could put "Nothing but a good time" and
your inbox will explode but we are not going to go there either.
Lets start with your description the best thing to do is be honest.
The hard part about this is you have to be honest with yourself before
you post it. People that are looking thru profiles can spot a fake in
a second so if you are looking for a date it is best to give an honest
view of yourself. This will provide the best results, it always has
and always will. You can also try to be funny that never hurts.
Online Dating Photo's
Now on to the pictures. Don't tell me you are not going to place a
photo! No photo means no dates and that defeats the purpose in the
first place. Here are some personal ad photo tips
1) Get Close Up: Photos that are up close and clear are more likely to
get you noticed.
2) Go Natural: Have photos taken while you're doing a normal, everyday
activity, such as having coffee, laughing with a friend, or walking
around your neighborhood.
3) Fly Solo: A group photo can be confusing to potential dates trying
to figure out which person in the photo is you.
So there you have it, this will be the best way you can improve your
love life. Good Luck
